Rev. Randy Luther, pastor of Cross Community Church, Berne, IN, coordinated this year's exchange.  Working along with Randy were Rev. Dick Resner, Broadway Christian Church, Kimmel, IN; Rev. Ed Briggeman, Emanuel's Christian Church, New Bavaria, OH; Rev. Gene Bell, First Reformed Church, Bluffton, IN; and Rev. Mike Wertenberger, St. Luke's Church, Decatur, IN.  Each pastor conducted Ash Wednesday services in his own church.  then each week on Sunday or Wednesday, depending on each church's tradition, each pastor presented a message to each of the participating churches.

Our series was entitled, "At the Foot of the Cross" by Dennis Maurer, and there were five different subjects centering around the main charaters at the foot of the cross. 

This effort enabled our churches to meet four other EA pastors and for the pastors to visit and preach in some other of our EA churches.  It created some lines of communication which we believe are vital for our regional group to grow.  We hope to have an exchange of pulpits during Sunday morning worhsip sometime later this fall.  Thanks to all of the pastors who cooperated and it looks like there is enthusiasm to repeat this exchange again next year.
